The Role

We are looking for a Bindery Operator to join our team! The Bindery Operator is responsible for the production of client jobs that do not fall into the normal inserting workflow. This includes operator cutters, folders, tabbers, and other bindery equipment. Bindery Operators are also responsible for reading and following job ticket instructions and for sorting, traying, and palletizing mail for fulfillment.

We want someone who is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and can work in a team environment. 

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to process, comprehend and follow detailed instructions
• Basic skill of using manual dollies, carts and hand tools such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment used in material handling tasks.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Outstanding attention to detail 
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and move heavy materials (about 35–40 pounds)
• Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and work independently
• Work constructively with coworkers and supervisors when performing daily responsibilities
• Production experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass drug screen, E-Verify, and background check
