Billing Systems Manager manages the daily operations of the billing system. Ensures the operations and associated procedures of billing systems are efficient and effective for billing delivery. Being a Billing Systems Manager develops and implements new billing solutions to improve departmental efficiency and accuracy. Helps develop strategies for system integration of future technology. Additionally, Billing Systems Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Billing Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Billing Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The billing specialist will be responsible for all the billing for our Telematics product line. The individual applying for this position needs to have an intermediate understanding of Excel. The process is simply downloading the monthly usage information from our vendors website into Excel and then manipulating the data to help create invoices via QuickBooks. The time requirement is about 10-15 hours for the first three business days of every month at our Parsippany, NJ office. The hands-on training will also be completed at our office.
