JOB TITLE: Dispatcher

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse- 500

FACILITY LOCATION: Keasbey, NJ

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE (Basic purpose of job)

The Warehouse Dispatch assists with the monitoring of the receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of all items in the warehouse, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• General warehouse duties to support scheduling distribution center inbound and outbound shipments.
• Print out BOL and other necessary paperwork for outgoing loads
• Assign dock doors for customer trucks.
• Ability to communicate with all areas of the company including the main office, Production, carriers and drivers. Consistent support responding to emails and fax transmissions.
• Keep all documentation and records accurate and up to date with the latest data to prevent errors in processing or delivery.
• Satisfy documentation requirements by using SAP software to produce estimates, invoices and tracking spreadsheets.
• Prepare and load merchandise onto trucks.
• Receive, and accept inbound freight orders.
• Talk with drivers, shippers and consignees to resolve problems and update system with details.
• Provide outdoor yard checks and checkpoint monitoring.
• All other duties, as required or needed.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands & fingers, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Work & Excel
• Must be a self-starter and highly energized
• Must be motivated
• Customer Service skills at best-in-class level
