  • GENERAL STATEMENT: This position performs managerial duties in a casino environment. The primary responsibilities include protecting the interest of banking group in all aspects; managing the flow of bankers as the mixture of games change and insure bankers skills match the game(s) they are playing; nourishing and maintaining good working relationships with casino staff; and providing excellent customer service to all participants in every situation.

    Sign on Bonus of $1500-$2500 based on gaming knowledge after six months of employment if currently badged!

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acting as lead supervisor in absence of shift manager by performing managerial duties (i.e. camera checks/casino management issues).
    • Manage money by issuing banks and ensure their return along with appropriate documentation.
    • Observe table action for possible unusual behavior or irregularities with emphasis on big action games.
    • Make sure bankers have adequate chips and confirm chip counts between shift changes.
    • Confirm bankers are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Fill in when required and provide necessary breaks for players.
    • Assist floor person opening and closing games.
    • Performs other similar duties as assigned.

    Gaming and Other Requirements

    • Previous LA Card Room Gaming Supervisor Experience (TPPPL side)
    • 1 Year Banking Experience
    • Game Knowledge: MUST have previous BJ, TCP, EZ Baccarat, PGP banking experience

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; at least six (6) months experience as a banker or demonstrated knowledge of casino games, procedures, and rules.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively converse and write in English; able to read and comprehend simple instructions; and effectively communicate with employee, patrons, guests, and casino personnel.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and oral instructions; ability to make sound decisions.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires constant standing, walking around, and frequently reaching with hands and arms as well as using hands to handle or feel. Must be able to work not less than 2 hours of overtime when business needs mandate longer shifts.
