Bereavement Services Director - Home Care jobs in Fontana, CA
Bereavement Services Director - Home Care designs, plans and directs the home care bereavement program. Trains and coordinates a staff of bereavement counselors. Being a Bereavement Services Director - Home Care assigns counselors to families as necessary, and ensures services fulfill the needs of the family. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Bereavement Services Director - Home Care typically reports to top management. The Bereavement Services Director - Home Care manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Bereavement Services Director - Home Care typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Part Time hours include: 8 A.M-12 P.M and 9 A.M-12 P.M
Scheduled Days are Monday-Friday.
Hourly Rate is $17/hr

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Provide the personal care and support seniors/pediatrics/veterans/disabled need to live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document their condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
- CPR certification
- Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Current TB screening.
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift to 50 lbs.
