Bereavement Coordinator plans and provides bereavement counseling and support to survivors. Assesses individual needs and coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver a holistic support plan. Being a Bereavement Coordinator guides survivors to appropriate bereavement resources. Facilitates grief support group sessions. Additionally, Bereavement Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in social work. May require the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a manager. The Bereavement Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. SUMMARY of Duties
The Generations Vibrant Life (Activities) Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Generations (Memory Care) Program Director organizing, planning, facilitating and directing the overall operations of the Vibrant Life (Activities) Department for the Generation / Memory Care in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations, company policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Generations Program Director to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each Memory Care resident.
Make recommendations to the Generations Program Director or Generations Program Director with respect to Generations / Memory Care staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions and terminations.
This position is for Generations / Memory Care units with thirty-five (35) or more residents.

Work Experience Qualifications
Prefer one (1) year experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience with specialized dementia care and memory support programs.
Prefer six months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
