Job Overview : The Anti-Trafficking Coordinator oversees implementation of a diverse grant portfolio and provides support to staff and clients.
This includes staff supervision, grant compliance and reporting, providing limited case management, maintaining documentation, and partnership development.
The Anti-Trafficking Coordinator will provide intensive and comprehensive case management services to a limited caseload of survivors of labor and sex trafficking, asylees and unaccompanied youth.
Major Responsibilities :
Provide direct supervision to the Anti-Trafficking team
Hold a limited caseload and conduct trauma-informed comprehensive case management for foreign-born survivors of trafficking to help them feel safe, empowered and stable.
Assist with local oversight and strategic development of IRC Oakland's Anti-Trafficking department
Other related duties as assigned.

Position directly supervises : Anti-Trafficking Caseworkers, Anti-Trafficking Economic Empowerment Specialist, Access to Public Benefits Caseworkers
Position indirectly supervises : Anti-Trafficking Housing Specialist, Child Protection Caseworkers
Job Requirements :
Compassion towards and understanding of unique needs of survivors of trafficking.
Ability to maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional demeanor with clients and partner organizations.
Ability to de-escalate stressful situations in a trauma-informed manner.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, multi-cultural work environment.
Bilingual and culturally sensitive skills particularly relevant to underserved communities preferred.
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively;
Proficiency in written and spoken English required. Proficiency in spoken Spanish strongly preferred.
Working Environment : Hybrid work schedule, standard office environment; travel in and around the service delivery area required.
