Being a Bereavement Coordinator guides survivors to appropriate bereavement resources. Facilitates grief support group sessions. Additionally, Bereavement Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in social work. May require the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a manager. Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate intake processes for our patients. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Receive and enter patient information in electronic system.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPPA regulations
Assist with medical records management including filing and organizing documents
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Provide administrative support.
Collaborate with the Administrator to ensure smooth transitions.

Basic office skills such as Computer Skills, Emailing, Scanning and Faxing among other office procedures

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist, intake coordinator, or similar administrative role
Strong proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
