The Bereavement team is seeking a Bereavement Services Manager to join their team. Responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s Bereavement Program to meet and promote standards of quality and contribute to the organization’s mission and goals in compliance with organization policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include:

• Plan, develop, implement, administer, and evaluate the Bereavement Program to ensure availability and provision of care and services in accordance with the organization’s mission and goals and fiscal parameters and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify, develop, and implement opportunities for additional or improved services and work methods and procedures to ensure bereavement services are delivered in accordance with policy and organization mission and goals and to meet client needs.
• Assists the Director of Clinical Operations in the preparation of annual budget information for the Bereavement Services department and monitor allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
• Supervises the planning, implementation, and evaluation of bereavement services by bereavement staff
• Participate in public relations activities and the integration of bereavement programs into the community including but not limited to attending community events, making presentations, group facilitation and training.

Education/Experience:

• Master’s degree in the area of mental health from an accredited university.
• Minimum of five years clinical experience, preferably in a health care setting providing clinical services in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, grief and loss, individual, family and group therapy.
• Minimum of two years’ experience managing mental health services

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current license in the area of mental health by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. 
• Certification to provide clinical supervision as outlined by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
