Therefore, the Elder Care Line Specialist must have a working knowledge of the capabilities of all the nursing centers and services in the network. Ensures an immediate response to all inquiries. Provides information to the Elder Care Line Manager for the purpose of generating reports and program quality improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Elder Care Line Benefits Specialist is responsible for coordinating all referrals/inquiries to the Genesis Network in a timely and seamless manner. Therefore, the Benefits Specialist must have a working knowledge of the capabilities of all the nursing centers and services in the network. Ensures an immediate response to all inquiries. Provides information to the Resource Manager for the purpose of generating reports and program quality improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responds to all referrals and inquiries in a professional manner. This may include but is not limited to selling the network, explaining finances, communicating intake information, and transfer of information to appropriate facility/entity for scheduling of admission/appointments.
2. Follows up on all referrals and inquiries at specified intervals for the purpose of measuring client satisfaction as well as tracking of client needs.
3. Completes intake process in a timely manner and coordinates appropriate service delivery.
4. Maintains a positive working relationship with all referral sources/customers
5. Maintains a positive working relationship with all Genesis Centers and Service entities
6. Assists the Manager in marketing the ElderCare Line to current and potential referral services
7. Effectively markets Genesis services via the HealthCare Line
8. Performs other related duties as assigned
