Minimum Qualifications:
· Proven history of technical accomplishment, leadership, planning & coordinating, and executing on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proven experience working with a technical team in a product development environment.
· 10 Years minimum experience in Apps/Design engineering for Power Applications
· AC-to-DC and/or DC-to-DC converter design
· Detailed circuit design, not "cookbook" usage of reference designs
· Proficient in power semiconductor characteristics
· § Diodes, MOSFETs, IGBTs, and Power ICs
· Proficient in End to End Power conversion Applications
· BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience
· Use of Simulation or Analytical tools of power switching circuits
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience/Skills:
1) 5 to 10 Years minimum experience in Apps/Design engineering
a. DC-to-DC converter design
i. Detailed circuit design, not "cookbook" usage of reference designs
b. Proficient in MOSFET & Driver IC characteristics
c. Proficient in VRM/VRD and Multi-phase Applications
2) BSEE, MSEE preferred, or equivalent years of experience
3) Spice simulation of power switching circuits
4) Excel or MathCad simulation of power supply efficiency and losses
5) Schematic capture and printed circuit layout with CAD tools
6) Component selection for optimized cost verses performance
