    • Responsible for providing qualitative and quantitative assessments in a wide range of administrative and workload operational matters in support of the DROC's mission.
    • Review staffing requirements and the most effective organizational structure for appeals processing.

    Specialized Experience:

    To qualify at the grade level of GS-13: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12) in the federal or other service. Specialized experience is work experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled within the organization.

    Specialized experience for this position is defined as: (1) Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques; (2) Using regulations, policies and precedents to conduct detailed analysis of issues, work functions, or work processes; (3) diagnosing problems within the organization and implementing plans and means to make improvements and/or implement change; AND (4) developing the design of business processes, systems, technology, and/or job roles for a division within VA Regional Office or other large organization.

    There is no authorized substitution of education, for the specialized experience required at the grade level GS-13.

    Work Schedule: Regular office hours, Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Alternate work hours may be available.

    Promotion Potential: There is no promotion potential within this position, as it is being filled at the full performance level of (GS-13).
