The current position is looking for a CNA/MA Healthcare Care Coordinator. The position includes weekends.

Compass Recovery is seeking to hire a qualified direct care staff as Healthcare Care Coordinator. More specifically looking for a team member motivated to support those struggling with chemical dependency and mental health. This is a very rewarding position as our team sees lives change and a foundation is built.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Admission/intakes
• Discharges and Transfers
• Documentation/End of Shift reports
• Transportation of clients to outside appointments and meetings
• Healthcare duties, vitals, CIWA/COWS, monitoring client self administering medication
• Medication Monitoring and reporting symptoms to the Healthcare Provider
• Crisis intervention
• Group Co-facilitation and group facilitating when trained
• Office and computer work
• Monitor and assist clients throughout their day
• Maintain cleanliness and clean up as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• CNA or Medical Assistant or Nursing Student
• Kipu trained
• Registered Recovery Worker or RADT-1 Certification preferred
• Preferred knowledge of the fundamentals of Refuge, celebrate recovery, addiction and/or 12-step philosophy
• Minimally 1 year sober for individuals in recovery
• One year of experience in a human services setting; strong professional references attesting to high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Ability to prioritize and perform with minimal direction
• Computer literate and ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally with clients, administration, the treatment team and family members
• Certification in First Aid/CPR - able to obtain prior to start date.
• TB tested within 1 year - able to obtain within 7 days of hire
• Clean DMV record and/or meet criteria in accordance with Company insurance policy requirements.
• Valid California Driver's License.

• Detox: 1 year (Required)
• Medical Assistant or CNA: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
