JOB SUMMARY:
Surveillance Technician provides technical knowledge and assistance of all Surveillance equipment. Protects company assets and possesses knowledge of surveillance operations. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Value Statement of the Coyote Valley Casino.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned:
1. Maintains surveillance of all areas and activities of Coyote Valley Casino.
2. Insures cameras are in proper working order and repairs any malfunctions in a timely manner.
3. Logs camera and equipment malfunctions in accordance with the Surveillance policies and procedures.
4. Cleans cameras on a regular basis in agreement with the Surveillance Director/Manager.
5. Works as an observer when needed.
6. Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies, especially those regarding confidentiality.
7. Operates all surveillance equipment.
8. Conduct self always in a manner that reflects credit on the casino and encourages other to do the same.
9. Must abide by the dress code maintaining the professional appearance of the casino at all times.
10. Must be able to work well with Co-workers/Supervisor/Managers.
11. Must maintain a good attendance record, and understand the importance of punctuality when arriving for scheduled shifts. Must be flexible with their schedule and willing to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Minimum of one year Casino Surveillance Technician experience.
3. A thorough knowledge and understanding of all games and casino rules, procedures, and administration.
4. Familiar with camera equipment and methods of operation and recording.
5. Knowledge of identification of methods of cheating games and other related activities.
6. Must have good observation skills.
7. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
8. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
9. Must be able to life 30 pounds.

11. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
