Behavioral Home Care Aide provides household management activities and care for patients suffering from mental illness and developmental disabilities. Assists patient with medications and activities of daily living skills, including personal hygiene. Being a Behavioral Home Care Aide establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and implements treatment plans under the supervision of a professional clinician. May be required to document progress in accordance with established procedures. Additionally, Behavioral Home Care Aide may require previous experience working with patients suffering with behavioral health disorders. Requires a high school diploma. We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Fort Collins area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in a patient's home in accordance with a physician established care plan.
This is a part time contract position for 8 hours a week to be worked on Thursdays or Fridays. You and the patient can choose the schedule together.
