Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. We are looking for a mission driven Associate Behavioral Health Director to join our team! Under the general supervision of the Associate Medical Director of Behavioral Health, the Associate Behavioral Health Director provides clinical patient care and clinical supervision (.9 FTE) and assists with administrative responsibilities (.1 FTE) necessary for the effective operation of the satellite clinics. The Associate Behavioral Health Director provides, develops, supports, and coordinates patient care and patient support activities. They also provide leadership and clinical supervision to the Behavioral Health Therapists at the satellite locations. This requires collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, Associate Medical Director of Behavioral Health, medical providers, and leadership members across OneWorld clinics.
This is a full-time position located on our main LSX campus (30th & L) . The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some nights and weekends may be included.
