We’re Not Like Other Practices; We’re A Cool Practice
Mindsight Behavioral Group is a group practice committed to providing wraparound services to our community. We have locations throughout the state of Kentucky and we are growing all the time. Our vision is to provide excellent mental health services to everyone who needs it, especially those who may not otherwise be able to afford counseling. For this reason we work hard to maintain relationships with Medicaid providers and about 80% of our clients are Medicaid recipients.
Despite the primary population that we serve, we are NOT an agency. In fact, we function on systems that make a workload sustainable and enjoyable for years to come. We’re in this for the long haul and we want clinicians who are, too.
What Does Sustainability Look Like In Group Practice?
It looks like a team that cares.
At Mindsight, we know you are more than a service provider and the number of billable sessions on a screen. We care about you as an individual and we want to make sure you are being cared for as you care for our clients.
To this end, we allow incredible flexibility with your schedules. Our tenured clinicians can accumulate up to 4 weeks of vacation time, but our newly hired clinicians get a vacation, too! We have also recently instituted brand-new policies to ensure that every member of our clinical team has time for self-care and processing. We pay our clinical staff to take off work, for two hours a week!
In addition to these policies, we believe that to be sustainable, our team has to be constantly improving. Because we believe that so strongly, we offer our full support to any clinician who wants to improve, whatever that might mean…
● Ready for additional training in EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, or Gottman? We’ll pay for it.
● Want to develop your own CEU? We’ll help you create it and sell it.
● Looking to lead? We have plenty of leadership opportunities.
● Want to do something totally different? Even better! We recently started a YouTube channel and a Podcast to support some of our creative team members.

It’s Bigger Than Individuals
We also believe in buying into a mission, vision, and values bigger than one person. We are a team and our goal is to provide excellent clinical services across the state of Kentucky. We do this through…
But What About the Money?
Based on our clientele, you’ve probably guessed that we aren't the highest-paying group practice, but we aren’t the lowest-paying either!
We offer our counselors a fair rate and a ton of support. We can honestly promise that we are constantly evaluating our rates and looking for ways to pay our staff more!
Our admin team is generous and fun and here for the sole purpose of making sure you have everything you need to provide incredible clinical services.
We have an onboarding and training program that supports you through your first 90 days of employment to make the transition easy.
Throughout your time with us, we will set you up to be a source of empathy and authority in your community through social media and marketing content that you won't find anywhere else.
We can fill any therapist's caseload if they know how to retain a client.
We do things for our counselors that we don't have to do, but we want to, because we care.
All that said, if you're looking for a job with the highest paying salary, that’s not us.
Is This the Position For You?
We know this is a lot. Like, a lot a lot. But we believe it is crucial that you know enough about us before you make the decision to apply. Please understand, we are not looking for people who are job hoppers. We're not interested in those seeking a 50-cent on-the-hour raise. We are looking for professional counselors who truly want to feel like part of the team like they're a part of something bigger than themselves. If that is you, then what are you waiting for? Apply now! We can’t wait to meet you!
