Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • About your Role:

    As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision

    Does the following apply to you?
    Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances and at least one (1) of the following:

    • Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
    • 2 years’ prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
    • High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)
    • Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services
