Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Under supervision, the Behavioral Health Technician II is responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the program unit and patient care working within a treatment team model. The Behavioral Health Technician II, following AODA/Mental Health program policies and procedures, provides direct services to clients, and follows through on previously determined AODA/Mental Health goals. Behavioral Health Technician must conduct themselves ethically and professionally in keeping with program and company philosophies and policies. High-quality professional relationships as exemplified by honesty, respect, and fairness must be maintained at all times.
