Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will provide mental health evaluations and treatments for patients within the greater Cleveland area. Successful candidates will perform diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy treatment, group therapy/counseling sessions, and crisis intervention services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functions as a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Counselor by performing one or more of the following clinical interventions as appropriate to properly care for RBH patients:
COMPENSATION:
Hourly rate $28 - $38 commensurate with experience
EDUCATION:
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or health-related field.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Licensure to practice clinical discipline in Ohio, as applicable, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counseling and Licensed Certified Addiction Counselor preferred (LSW, MSW, LPC, LPCC. LICDC).
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 or more years of clinical experience working directly with clients having mental or substance related disorders and 2 years of group therapy experience using a variety of treatment modalities preferred.
