Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Psych Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity: 7am - 7:30pm or 7pm - 7:30am

    This opportunity is either full time (36hrs/week) or part time (24hrs/week), offers full benefits and options to work day (7a - 7:30p) or night (7p - 7:30a) shifts. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. New grads are encouraged to apply! Excellent Mentorship Program available!

    This opportunity includes a $7,500 sign on bonus for the night shift!

    The Pavilion Behavioral Health System
    includes a 110 bed inpatient hospital, a residential treatment center for youth and a residential addictions treatment program. Outpatient services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services, as well as The Pavilion Foundation School, a private day school serving students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. The Pavilion is located in Champaign, IL, within minutes of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus.

    • Illinois RN License (or eligibility to obtain or renew - new grads welcome to apply)
    • Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred
