RESPONSIBILITIES: LSS is looking for a dynamic individual to provide leadership to LSS Behavioral Health Services with an emphasis in clinical services. Assist the Program Director in developing and directing overall program approaches. Provide supervision, orientation, and oversite with the clinical team. Monitor referrals, intake processes, performance/quality improvement activities, and service delivery. Work collaboratively within varying LSS programs that provide clinical treatment for clients. Represent the agency with involvement through community organizations. Provide services to clients in your respective field.
LSS Behavioral Health Services is a statewide service with a $2.8 million dollar annual budget. In addition to providing outpatient-counseling services on a sliding fee scale, the program delivers evidence-based services for the Criminal Justice Initiative and Juvenile Justice Reinvestment Initiative, substance use services, and school-based mental health services. LSS maintains offices in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, Brookings, Rapid City, and Watertown.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Masters Degree and two year’s experience in a related field and supervision in a clinical environment; or a Bachelor’s Degree and four year’s experience in a related field and supervision, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensure at the highest level of professional field of study, LPC-MH or CSW-PIP, preferred. Strong communication skills. Experience with technology, electronic health records and telehealth services. Willingness to travel in-state.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
