Behavior Analyst jobs in New York
Behavior Analyst conducts psychological/behavioral assessments for assigned patients. Designs, implements and evaluates behavior intervention plans. Being a Behavior Analyst provides ongoing training to clinical staff in the implementation and management of behavior programs. Requires a master's degree in behavioral analysis or related field. Additionally, Behavior Analyst may require certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Behavior Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are currently seeking a part-time and/or full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering behavior analysis services, creating and implementing behavior plans, conducting assessments, and providing training and support to clients and their families. Experience working with individuals with autism and a strong grasp of evidence-based practices are essential qualifications.
BCBA positions are available in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, NYC, and Staten Island. Candidates must hold certification as a BCBA and be licensed as a NYS LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst). Previous experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or teaching children with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and familiarity with VB-MAPP and Vineland assessments are advantageous. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
