Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including restocking supplies as needed

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverages

- Assist in food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries

- Operate various equipment, such as espresso machines or blenders, to prepare beverages

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service

Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations

- Sales skills to upsell products and promote specials

- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling

- Basic math skills for calculating prices and making change accurately

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
