Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and other refreshments. Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner - Take customer orders and prepare coffee beverages according to established recipes - Operate coffee brewing equipment and other related machinery - Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or Aloha POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Assist with food preparation and handling as required Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a positive manner - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
