Job Description:

As a Barber/Cosmetologist at you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming and beauty services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skills, and customer service expertise, contributing to the overall success and positive reputation of our salon/barber shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grooming Services: Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and other grooming services based on client preferences and industry trends.
• Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations, ensuring a personalized and satisfying experience.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and products in the grooming and beauty industry to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.
• Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a loyal customer base through excellent service and professionalism.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow barbers/cosmetologists and support staff to create a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere within the salon/barber shop.

Qualifications:

• Valid Barber or Cosmetology license in Maine.
• Some amount of experience as a Barber or Cosmetologist.
• Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, and coloring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for staying updated on industry trends and techniques.
