SUMMARY STATEMENT

To provide adequately prepared facilities and rooms that have a professional look for use in all ministries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential:

1. Constantly monitors all current and future events, event schedules and facility support requirements
2. Ensures the maximum efficiency of assigned tasks and duties
3. Works with facility vendors and contract workers
4. Ensures that the highest standards are being met with a clean, organized and properly staged environment throughout the campus
5. Understands and properly manages schedules and hours
6. Perform all duties and tasks involving preparing all areas of the facilities for various events and classes
7. Moving furniture, fixtures and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
8. Provides light maintenance and housekeeping tasks as assigned
9. Assists with ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment
10. Communicates facility team member needs and concerns to direct supervisor
11. Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Support Services

Marginal:

1. Assist other departments within Support Services on a case by case basis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS OR STANDARDS

1. Friendly and Enthusiastic
2. Customer service orientated
3. Adheres to campus schedules and deadlines
4. Good steward of church resources
5. Lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
6. Ability to use reasoning and organizational skills
7. Ability to use computers, a variety of software applications and related technology
8. Ability to work and make adjustments in a fast paced environment
9. Works well on both a team atmosphere and on individual projects
10. Awesome communication skills
11. 1 year experience in current or related field
