    SUMMARY:

    The Banquet Server will set up and service catered events, conferences, and banquets.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Set up location according to function request including utilizing carts to move equipment, moving tables and chairs, and arranging place settings. 
    • Work with all team members to provide exemplary service to patrons during events.
    • Tear down and clean up location after events have ended.
    • Perform necessary tasks to maintain equipment.
    • Perform bartending functions as needed.
    • Assist all team members to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion.
    • Other projects and duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Experience:

    • Must be 19 years of age or older.
    • Must pass pre-interview physical test.
    • Ability to handle trays of up to eight plates, with covers, required.
    • Ability to move, handle, and set up banquet tables required.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Valid driver’s license preferred.
    • Food handler’s permit preferred; ability to obtain a food handler’s permit required.
    • Six months previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred.

    Skills/Knowledge:

    • Excellent customer service skills required.
    • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
    • Must have strong multi-tasking skills.
    • The ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes preferred.
    • Must be able to find acceptable solutions to problems within policy guidelines.
