Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing banquet events and ensuring the smooth execution of all food and beverage service. Responsibilities:
- Supervise banquet staff during events, including servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to ensure all details and requirements are met
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, decorations, and audiovisual equipment
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards, safety procedures, and job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery

Skills:
- Previous experience in banquet or event management
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food presentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
