The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing and delivering food and beverage items in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service with a smile, and ensuring that all of guests have a memorable Live 5 experience.

Compensation : $25.00 / hr tips!

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact :

• Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.
• Maintain positive and professional attitude.

Skills to Help You Succeed :

• Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea, and coffee machines.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Public relations skills needed.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet.
• Flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

Must-Haves :

• Education : A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Experience : One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurants is preferred.
• License : Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license, and an Alcohol Beverage Card is required.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.
• Ability to push bus cart and carry trash / linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Use of stairs and elevators
