  • SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$95,000 DOE. The Banquet Chef will be responsible for overseeing all banquet operations and ensuring that all food served meets Silverado resorts standards.

     

    Essential Functions

    • Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. 
    • Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
    • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
    • Assist Executive Chef with Banquet Menu preparation.
    • Drive and train the team culinary techniques and cooking methods.
    • Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in kitchen areas.
    • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
    • Monitor quality of all food products and presentation.
    • Make cooks aware of daily forecasts and customer counts so that they can be adequately prepared to serve both hot and cold food on time.
    • Ensure compliance with requisition procedures.
    • Conduct staff performance reviews in accordance with Silverado Resort standards.
    • Know and enforce all local health department sanitation laws.
    • Know how to compute daily food cost.
    • Assess food portion size, visual appeal, taste, and temperature of items served.
    • Check all stations at the end of every shift for proper food storage and sanitation.
    • Check food purchases for proper ordering, quality, and price structure.
    • Oversee daily activities such as preparation for all food items, sanitation of the outlets, receiving daily inventories, log-on report, and food cost report.
    • Prepare daily food production sheets.
    • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
    • Perform other duties as requested by management.
