Kyocera Unimerco Tooling, Inc. manufactures, distributes, and services tools for machining, primarily for the metal, automotive, aerospace, and fluid power industries. We are a leading manufacturer of both solid carbide and PCD-tipped cutting tools.

Our facility in Saline, Michigan has a beautiful Canteen that is a showcase for our employees and visitors.

We are currently recruiting for a chef to work alongside our executive chef. This is a two-person team that manages the complete day-to-day functions of the kitchen. Daily meals are planned and executed for all the staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Estimates food and beverage costs.
• Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
• Conducts inspection of equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
• Collaborates with chefs to develop menus.
• Maintain records and receipts.
• Prepares and submits expense reports and other documentation requested by the finance department.
• Ensure menu is in accordance with KUTUS direction.
• Manage budget in accordance with KUTUS management requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Previous culinary experience required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
