Job description

The Banquet Captain/Supervisor is responsible for the direction and execution of special events and banquets, The Banquet set-up supervisor is also responsible for all setup and breakdown of the event.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete projects assigned by the Food and Beverage department such as cleaning, taking inventory, and other miscellaneous projects.
• Set up banquet rooms in line with event’s specific needs.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities, ensuring that areas are properly set and ready for execution at the appointed time.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
• Display great customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and anticipate future needs.
• Supervises staff in the set up and break down of assigned banquet rooms according to contract and managers instructions.
• Supervises and trains staff in the service of food and beverages according to standards.
• Assist in conducting pre-function meetings.
• Actively participates in set up of banquet rooms and service of food and beverage to guests.
• Have prior knowledge of CI/TY

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
