Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee banquet events and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
· Coordinate and ensure setup and take down of all events
· Train and mentor new team members
· Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards are met
· Handle and report customer feedback to management and resolve any immediate issues per company policies
· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
· Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment
· Be able to assist in restaurant and lounge service needs when called upon
· Ability to carry out position for both on and off site events
· Adhere to health and safety regulations
Skills:
· Food service management
· Excellent customer service
· Banquet set up and aesthetic food presentation
· Ability to learn the POS quickly
· Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques to ensure quality and safety standards are met
· Catering experience of various size groups
· Bartending experience a plus
· Cooking / Pastry chef experience a plus
· Ability to work well with management and colleagues and foster a positive environment – no drama
· Reliability and flexibility is required. Substance abuse issues need not apply.
Compensation: $15/hr plus excellent Tips. Position is currently Part Time but can quickly lead to full time as the season progresses.
