Banquet Captain

Purpose:

We are looking for an individual who has a strong work ethic and is passionate, intellectually open & honest, puts the customer first and is an excellent team member!

As a Banquet Captain at Itasca Country Club, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will lead a team of banquet servers & bartenders, coordinate event setup and breakdown, and oversee the overall flow of operations during events.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a weddings and special events venue.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, event planning procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
