The Promontory Club is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Catering Bartender – Summer Seasonal.

Bartenders have the opportunity to rotate between the Peak; an Asian influence restaurant where seafood is the star and the Hearth Grill where an 800 bottle wine wall welcomes Promontory Members to the warm, inviting atmosphere of a fine dining steakhouse. We also deliver exceptional service through several events planned for Members and their guests throughout the year.
We are looking to competitively compensate experienced bartenders who have a proven record of excellent service, attention to detail, maintenance of portion control and are able to complete all activities to keep us compliant with UDABC legal standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within two weeks of employment. Must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC). Must be at least 21 years of age.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1 – 2 years of previous bartending experience required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Wages will be commensurate with experience upon employment plus tip share.
