Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred
- Strong math skills for accurately handling cash transactions and making change
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages is a plus
- Experience using TOAST or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- All employees should be able to bartend and serve as needed.
