Calder Casino is a fun place to work!! As a fun and dynamic Bartender, you will be responsible for providing the patrons with excellent service in a timely manner, assist the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service, and provide patrons with a favorable gaming experience.

FUNCTION

The Bartender is responsible for providing the patrons with excellent service in a timely manner, assist the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service, and provide patrons with a favorable gaming experience.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.
• Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Responsible to perform responsible alcohol service with regards to patron limitations and pass any / all responsible alcohol service training.
• Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

• Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and berg beverage system.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure demands.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Bartending experience; experience in a casino setting is a plus.
• Valid gaming license or ability to obtain gaming license.
