Doubletree by Hilton Greensboro Airport is looking for an experienced banquet bartender to join our team in the hospitality industry. As a banquet bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service at various events and functions. The Hotel Banquet Bartender will ensure that all guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience by serving a wide range of beverages and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This fast-paced Hotel Banquet Bartender role requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
We’re within 10 minutes of Big Tree Way Park, Piedmont Triad Airport, and Leonard Recreation Center. Greensboro Arboretum and Greensboro Coliseum are eight miles away. Winston Lake Golf Course, Golf at Grandover, and Jamestown Park Golf Course are within 30 minutes. We offer a shuttle service, 5,000 sq. ft. of event space, and on-site dining.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Banquet Bartender include:
- Take guest orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Verify guest's identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Collect payments, settle guest checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point-of-sale system
- Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
Requirements for the Hotel Banquet Bartender include:
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during the entire shift
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
