    Job Description and Duties

    Under the direction of the Warden, The Community Resources Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing community-related areas and resources to meet institutional and inmate program needs. The Community Resources Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the Community Partnership Program between the correctional institution, local community and special interest groups.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.**

    Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation.
