Position Summary: The Athletic Department Operations GA will assist in the overall management of the operations side of the Department of Athletics. The Athletic Department Operations GA will also assist the athletic department in other areas as needed for the operations of the athletic department. Evening and weekend work will be required at times.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare fields/courts for intramural and intercollegiate contests and provide appropriate equipment as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be athletic minded and/or have athletic experience in order to be familiar with the needs of various sports. The candidate will be able to physically fulfill the requirements of moving equipment (soccer goals, tables, etc.), lining fields, driving various vehicles, etc.
The candidate must maintain graduate enrollment in good standing at the University and support the overall mission of BJU.
