Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Citizens State Bank is looking for a highly motivated professional to fill a Loan Processing Manager position in our La Crosse location. This individual will be given an excellent opportunity to grow professionally as the Bank continues to grow.
This position will oversee the loan processing department, which provides support to the Bank’s Loan Officers at each location by processing and preparing legal documentation and files for consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans. This position will also include auditing loan files and documents, adding loans to the core system, along with ensuring the department is following up on various routine tasks. In addition, the position will be responsible for working closely with loan customers, attorneys, realtors, and title companies daily. Managing and coaching of the staff will be very important, in addition to creating strong relationships between the Loan Officers and the Loan Processors.
We are looking for applicants that have superior customer service skills, excellent attention to details, and the ability to multitask, motivate, meet deadlines, and work as a team, along with previous banking or legal documentation experience.
