Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
    • Ability to prepare financial statements.
    • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
    • Supervise and mentor accounting staff and assess performance.
    • Read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA, FASB, and GASB.
    • Stay up to date on firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and the state CPA society’s rules, regulations, and Code of Ethics.
    • Market the firm to new clients and look for opportunities to provide additional services to our existing clients.
    • Monitor progress of engagements in relation to budgets and deadlines.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining a personal network; participation in professional organizations.
    • Leads and nurtures a work culture that promotes open and frequent communication among staff; stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives.
    • Supports the partner team and contributes to the development of the business plan.
    • Must be able to travel to client locations (usually within one to two hours of the office), approximately 50-60%.
    • Perform other job functions and projects as requested to support the firm.

     

     

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in commercial client experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required.  Master’s degree in Accountancy preferred.
    • CPA required.
    • Supervisory experience.
    • Good work ethic, service driven, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to take on responsibility and leadership.
    • Proven track record of marketing to, bringing in, and managing new clients.
    • Willingness to drive firm initiatives and lead new firm projects.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

     

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Frequently communicates with employees and clients; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
    • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a phone, copy machine, and computer printer.
    • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
    • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
    • Ascend/descend stairs.
    • Minimal hazardous material exposure.
    • Minimal noise level.
