Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager jobs in Illinois

Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     How you will contribute:

    • Review audit engagement procedures performed by the audit team in a timely and professional manner

    • Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts when necessary

    • Understand client service relationships and how to utilize firm resources to provide unmatched client service to existing clients

    • Use technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology

    • Demonstrate your ability to recognize problems and propose sensible solutions, with an appropriate balance between client needs and the firm's risk

    • Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and provide advance warning of any variances

    • Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional staff

    • Participate in board and audit committee meetings and presentations

    • Build personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities

    • Providing staff with timely performance feedback

    • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to maintain professional client relationships

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    • A high level of knowledge ofcurrent audit and accounting concepts

    • A desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionals

    • An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team members

    • Team and engagement management skills

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

    • At least 7 years of relevant audit experience

    • CPA license

    • Experience managing multiple complex client engagements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Industry experience in Commercial Banking
