Provide administrative support for the Business Banking Team; assist in processes such as documentation, sales, due diligence, closing and monitoring of commercial loans. The position of Loan Assistant is responsible for assisting the Business Banking in performing various duties and special projects related to commercial loan applications, processing commercial loan payments and advances on lines of credit and updating information. Work on and distributes daily and monthly reports. The position of Loan Assistant is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of servicing loans, and assures compliance with credit union policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
1. Support the Business Banking team as a main backup contact person for internal and external clients
2. Diagnose and resolve issues/needs for Everwise Credit Union clients
3. Assist Business Banking Lenders in gathering due diligence: Financials, Insurance, Technical Exceptions, etc.
4. Inputting loans into BakerHill
5. Work directly with Microlenders in the review of loan files to ensure that the necessary documents have been obtained to move forward with loan requests
6. Tracking and monitoring progress of incoming referrals
7. Assist in researching projects and preparing reports
8. Manage the daily NSF report with loan officers and clients
9. Coordinate marketing and events
10. Prepare correspondence, i.e., Discussion Letters, Memos, etc.
11. Possess excellent communications with business banking clients and Business Banking team
12. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the growth and support of the Business Banking Team.
13. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.
