Bakery Clerk jobs in Wisconsin
Bakery Clerk responds and attends to customer requests in the bakery department within a grocery store. Responsible for various duties including preparing baked goods and other items for sale, arranging and wrapping bakery products, and placing bakery items in display cases. Being a Bakery Clerk may operate machines such as bread slicers. Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Additionally, Bakery Clerk may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bakery Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Linda's Bakery in West Salem, WI is looking for full time or part time sales clerks to join our 90 person strong team. We are located on 190 E City Hwy 16 in West Salem, WI. Our ideal candidate is friendly and reliable. Join our team of helpful sales clerks who serve the area's best quality bakery products with great customer service.
The full time position requires availability primarily on weekdays with occasional weekend shifts. Morning shifts are 6:00am-12pm, afternoons 12pm-6:30pm, with a few initial training shifts starting as early as 4:30am. Part time positions are also available.
Responsibilities

*Serve products to customers with friendly customer service *Communicate effectively with customers in person and on the phone *Efficiently ring up sales and take orders *Keep the sales area looking clean with regular housekeeping *Trustily handle cash and credit card sales
Qualifications
- We will train any candidate who can perform the job responsibilities
