    They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager job in Sellerburg, IN.

    • On-site work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

    A Day In The Life of a Maintenance Manager

    The position you are applying for is to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of our Part 145 Repair Station. You will have extensive experience as an A&P technician, with leadership experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for coordinating customer communication, scheduling and completing work, creating proposals, managing technician time and work scope, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

     

    Essential Duties of The Maintenance Manager

    • Communicate with customers to schedule and complete maintenance work
    • Create proposals for client work requests
    • Schedule work in the repair station and manage technician assignments
    • Review and approve completed work orders
    • Utilize Quantum Software for tool tracking, technician clock in/out, work in progress, and completed work orders.
    • Hold the accountable manager appointment in compliance with Part 145 Repair Station FAR.
    • Maintain and update the Repair Station Manual and Training Manual
    • Manage the parts department, including sourcing and shipping needed parts
    • Collaborate with outside vendors to schedule maintenance when necessary
    • Ensure all repair station training for employees is current and documented
    • Oversee tool calibration for the maintenance shop
    • Troubleshoot aircraft issues and perform root cause analysis as needed
    • Develop solutions utilizing available equipment and capabilities

    Experience: 

    • 10 years of experience as an A&P technician
    • IA (preferred)
    • 5 years of experience in a leadership role
    • Leadership experience in a Part 145 Repair Station
    • Prior service center experience, preferably with manufacturer experience
    • Familiarity with jets, particularly Cessna, and piston aircraft such as Cirrus, Barron, Bonanza, and Piper
    • Proven track record of motivating teams and ensuring adherence to work timelines
    • Experience in customer service and communicating with aircraft owners
    • Microsoft Office Proficient
