Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Air Service Development Manager will be responsible for:

    Aviation development activities for MAv’s clients:

            • Understand the competitive position of each airport through continuous competition benchmark, market monitoring and demand analysis;
            • Define, implement and monitor the Route Development (RD) strategy and roadmap for each airport;
            • Identify the right market opportunities which support the RD strategy and target the appropriate airlines/Tour Operator according to their network and commercial strategies (lead for all airports)
            • Prepare and present business cases towards airlines, tour operators or any relevant travel organization;
            • Together with the Head of Tourism development, identify key tourism players (tours operators, travel agents, governmental bodies) and key levers to increase inbound traffic;
            • Participate to traffic forecast studies
            • Be responsible for ASD of airports managed by Groupe ADP on the North America area
            • Support the Groupe ADP Americas office on some ad hoc analysis and projects

    Business Development role:

            • Identify and connect with potential clients, prepare proposal
            • Develop and update marketing material and offerin
            • Attend industry events and seek speaking opportunities

    Support airport community aviation development action across the MAv-ADP Team:

            • Support local Aviation Development activities and projects with ah-hoc studies or training;
            • Identify Aviation Development best practices and share knowledge and expertise with other Air Service Development teams within the Groupe

    Contribute to tools and processes development:

            • Build and maintain relevant dashboards, business cases automation, stimulation tools, travel demand reporting to deliver presentation and business cases on an industrial way and feed.

    Desired experience:

            • Engineering degree/Business school degree/MA/MSC
            • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Airline/Airport industry or in relevant Marketing/Commercial position

    Requirements and Key skills needed:

            • Proficiency in MS Office, especially a deep proficiency of MS Excel and Power point
            • Ability to deliver commercial presentation and to wide audiences (up to C-level)
            • Analysis and data collection skills
            • Genuine interest in the airline and tourism industry
            • Aptitude in creative problem-solving
            • Fluent in English
