Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     1. 2 years of experience in a leadership position with a focus on customer relations. 
    2. 3 years of aviation / ground handling experience. 
    3. Ability to pass background check and hold Airport ID with CBP access approval (Customs Seal).
    4. Experience with development and expansion of a new operation would be a positive. 

    What you will do: 

    1. Lead the team to ensure that the operation exceeds the standards expected by clients and passengers. 
    2. Ensure compliance with established company, airlines, and airport requirements regarding safety and security policies. 
    3. Oversee all planning and resource allocation with consideration of budget, contracted labor hours, and other key performance indicators. 
    4. Actively engage in all people processes in close partnership with centralized HR and Training departments (including but not limited to recruitment, talent management, and training). 

     

    1. $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
