Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Required Skills and Qualifications

    Aviation Receptionist Job Qualifications
    • Customer service/hospitality experience
    • High school diploma or GED certificate
    • 18 years of age
    • A valid state driver’s license
    • Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations
    • Must be living in Hawaii
    • A professional appearance including grooming standards
    • Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company’s applicable insurance policies.
    • Ability to successfully and timely complete training programs, ability to use a computer and email, including passing computer-based training modules.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules including night, holiday and weekend shifts and in various weather conditions.
    • Preferred: Three (3) to six (6) months experience and/or training in aviation, FBO, hospitality, customer service or another related field
    • Preferred: knowledge of radio procedures and protocols
